I am associate professor at Department of Electrical
and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS).
I also hold a joint appointment with Yale-NUS College and a
courtesy appointment with School of Computing.
My main research is in computer vision and deep learning,
particularly in the domains of low level vision (bad
weather/nighttime, color analysis, physics-based vision,
optical flow, etc.),
human pose/motion analysis, and applications of deep learning
in healthcare. I received my PhD from The University of Tokyo,
and was affiliated with NICTA/Australian National
University, Imperial College London, and Utrecht University.
